Molecule Gallery
Did you know? A single molecule of water can form up to four hydrogen bonds, giving water its unusual properties like high boiling point.

Forged in the Stars
Did you know? Almost every atom in your body was created in a star that exploded billions of years ago.

The Hidden Architecture of Atoms
Did you know? The colorful orbital shapes aren’t objects — they’re maps of where electrons might be.

The Planet Beneath Our Feet
Did you know? Almost half of the Earth’s crust is oxygen, even though we think of it mainly as a gas in the atmosphere.

The Story of Discovery
Did you know? Mendeleev predicted the existence of gallium, scandium, and germanium before they were ever discovered.

Names with Ancient Roots
Did you know? The name “Oxygen” comes from Greek oxys (acid) + genes (former), meaning “acid former.”

The Economics of Elements
Did you know? Iridium, formed in supernovae, costs over $150,000 per kilogram and is used in spacecraft engines.

Every Element, a Story
Did you know? Gold is so malleable that a single gram can be hammered into a sheet covering 1 square meter.

The creation story
The World of Elements is the result of months of research, countless drafts, and meticulous checking of scientific data sources. Designed by information artist Martin Vargic, the intent was simple but ambitious: transform a static reference chart into a living world you can explore. Every tile, diagram, and molecule was crafted so that each time you look, you discover something new.
Martin has built a global reputation for turning complex information into stunning works of art. With this project, he continues that journey—and receives a portion of every sale, supporting his ongoing research and creations.
