Featured in NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) for showcasing the incredible diversity of exoplanets.
Martin Vargic’s detailed artistry captures the vastness of space in a way that few have ever visualized before.
This map is a stunning look at the universe beyond our solar system, depicting over a thousand exoplanets with meticulous detail...

Martin Vargic spent months meticulously researching and designing Exoplanet Zoo. Each planet's size and color are based on actual astronomical data, making this map not just a piece of art but also a scientifically accurate representation. Martin’s work brings the distant universe closer to home, allowing you to explore worlds beyond our solar system with unparalleled clarity.

Explore the Cosmos Like Never Before...

A Window to the Cosmos
Dive into the vast collection of over 1,100 exoplanets, each illustrated with intricate detail and color to capture its unique beauty.

Art Meets Real Science
Every planet on this map is based on real data, bringing an artistic yet scientifically accurate representation of our expanding knowledge of the universe.

Bring the Cosmos into Your Space
Turn your home, office, or classroom into a gateway to the stars with this stunning representation of the galaxy's most fascinating planets.

Here Are Some Sections You'll Find in the Artwork...

Hot Jupiters
These massive gas giants orbit perilously close to their stars, with temperatures exceeding anything imaginable on Earth. WASP-12b is so hot, it’s being torn apart by its star, while KELT-9b holds the record for the hottest exoplanet ever discovered.

Earth-Like Worlds
Orbiting within their star's habitable zone, these planets are some of the most promising candidates for life beyond Earth. Proxima b orbits our closest neighboring star, while TRAPPIST-1b is part of a system with seven Earth-sized planets.

Exotic Planets
Some planets are stranger than science fiction. 55 Cancri e is covered in lava and orbits so close to its star that a year lasts only 18 hours. Meanwhile, PSR J1719-1438b might be made of diamond, orbiting a pulsar in a distant, exotic system.

Super Giants
These massive planets dwarf even Jupiter, with gravitational pulls so intense that it would be impossible for any form of life to exist as we know it. HAT-P-67b, one of the largest known gas giants, showcases the sheer extremes of planetary formation.

Distant Outliers
These planets push the boundaries of existence. PSR-B1620-26b, dubbed "The Genesis Planet," is one of the oldest known planets, forming over 12 billion years ago. Kepler-70b orbits incredibly close to its star, where its surface temperature exceeds that of molten lava.

Martin Vargic, a self-taught artist from Slovakia, began creating maps as a teenager, driven by a fascination with both history and technology. His work is fueled by curiosity and a passion for blending art with information. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Martin’s creations turn complex subjects into engaging visual pieces.
A portion of each sale goes directly to Martin, helping him to continue creating these unique projects.
