His work captivates the imagination, portraying exoplanets as we have never seen them before.”
It’s available as a wall poster that brings almost 900 exoplanets to life, offering a mesmerizing view of planets that are icy, rocky, and teeming with mystery.
This map is a stunning look at the universe beyond our solar system, depicting over a thousand exoplanets with meticulous detail...
Months of Research, One Masterpiece
Creating ‘Icy and Rocky Worlds’ was no ordinary project. Martin Vargic spent months meticulously researching and visualizing data from leading exoplanet databases, including NASA’s Exoplanet Archive. Each planet was crafted with scientific accuracy and artistic imagination, revealing a visual tapestry of nearly 900 exoplanets. From textures to colors, every detail was inspired by real data and scientific models.

Here Are Some Sections You'll Find in the Artwork...
Explore icy worlds that resemble Neptune, with methane clouds that give them a rich blue hue. These giants are hundreds of degrees below freezing, their atmospheres swirling with exotic compounds.
Some rocky exoplanets orbit perilously close to their stars, resulting in molten surfaces that never cool. 55 Cancri e is one such world, with a surface thought to be covered by an ocean of lava. This planet glows with the heat of molten rock, a testament to the intense environments possible beyond Earth.
Imagine worlds with solid, rocky surfaces similar to Earth’s, like Proxima Centauri b, located just 4.25 light years away. As one of the closest Earth-sized planets in the habitable zone, it presents a tantalizing glimpse of what rocky, Earth-like exoplanets might look like beyond our solar system.
Among these distant worlds are planets older than Earth, some orbiting ancient stars in the twilight of their lives. These cosmic relics are a window into the distant past of the universe.
